Oh boy.......time for some schooling. The statute of limitations apply to crimes that have NOT been reported. You were not only reported, but cited. There is no time frame for it to go away!!!

7 years, but no biggee, don't show up and they tell DMV to cancell your DL. Then if you get pulled over you are driving with a warrant on ya and no DL. Last guy the judge saw here in SW Arkansas cost him 1500 bucks.

There is not. Until you take care of it, a warrant is issued for your arrest and before you know it you dont have a DL...which means more charges...
