Many cough syrups contain ingredients that may elevate ur blood pressure. There is a line of medications for colds and such. The medicine is called croicidin hbp. U can buy them at any pharmacy. They r made specifically for people with high blood pressure who are on medication.

Ck with your Dr. Cough syrup may raise your bloodpressure and make you sicker than a dog....or worse.

I believe there is a coricidin HBP made for individuals with high blood pressure. There is an ingredient in most cough syrups that people with high blood pressure shouldn't take.
