The propensity of women, once settled, to move on taking a big chunk of a chap's assets makes settling down a very risky business.

Yes im 28 and worry about this all the time. My problem is that I am just too picky and the slightest imperfection will put me off a girl. Really bad news..... Anyway I suppose you would class me as an 8. I have a good job and 2 properties but should really be married by the time I reach 30. Which doesnt leave much time......

Oh I go on about 1-2 dates a week but still havnt found the one for me....

I'm in my early 30's and have no desire to settle down just yet. A few of my mates have got married and now have children, but to be honest the idea of that lifestyle doesn't appeal to me at all. I feel far too young to be a husband and father and the kind of responsibility that goes with it.

I would far sooner be financially secure and have a nice big house with a garden first.

Hello,

Depends what you mean by settle down with? if you mean have a serious long term relationship or get married, or get married and have children?

Personally, I dislike the whole concept of marriage it seems more like mutual slavery to me. I'd hate to have to go through my life depending upon someone else.

**If by your question do you mean are men as neurotic as woman about relationships then the answer is Yes!. I can confirm they are.

**Men have almost all the same or very similar anxieties, worries & insecurities as woman, except does this make my bum look big? No! its more like does the bulge in my jeans look big enough!! Oh! for pete's sakes. lifes to short for all that stuff IMO. (TEE HEE :-)

I set a goal to be married by the time I'm 30. I just got married 2 months before I'll turn 30. I was worried I was running out of time. A lot of us hold on to the little kid inside of us so we procrastinate.

I'm single and 41. I was married in my late 20's and I've been a single father for 14 years. I don't think I'll ever get married again. My prospects are abismal and my ex refuses to acknowledge her child. The urge to settle passes if you let it.
