It is great that you are eating so healthy. Even amongst healthy foods, there are a lot of great different natural flavors. But you're right, the flavors are much more subtle compared to if you actively add flavor to them. So first of all, I don't think you are eating "tasteless food". You will just become more appreciate of the subtle flavor differences. Will you loose interest in taste? I don't think so, but you will be much less tempted by sweets etc than other people.

Just because your "Taste" is no taste doesn't mean you will lose interested in taste. You can't lose something you don't have in first place. But this is not a insult, I am saying that your interest in the taste of the way you eat your food is YOUR TASTE. So that is your interest. Now when you decide if ever to change that taste then your interests will move to that. And so on and on. And some people think that unseasoned food is the healthiest way to eat food. No seasoning no added fats.

So if your reasoning for eating tasteless foods is for some interest you are persuing. Then this is your interest in food and taste.

Wow guess we can go round and round on this subject.

I think it´s a matter of pressure, I mean, if you are used to restricting your eating habits to tasteless food everyday, then, I believe you by doing so add up "tension" to a potencial will for eating good tasty food again, so what may happen in my opinion is that, someday you will be so bored by your eating habits that you´ll once again dare to taste some good food, and when you do so, It´s very probable that you react differently then the other mortals and ... Have an orgasm triggered by your tongue on a nice and greasy cheeseburger.

Tasteless food can help you be small, yes, but it is not always the best for your health. Spices and other natural flavors aren't just given to us as flavors but as good things for the body. All things in moderation, I guess....

I think after awhile of eating tasteless foods, then one day eating something that tastes really good, you'll start craving taste again. There is healthy food that tastes good too.

The Spartans ate the same kind of barley cereal for every meal. Maybe that is what made them so mean.
