I've been listening to Techno for years, I love it, Im always a happy person... except for when Im not. Do people who ar emore happy often take a liking to techno?

i think people who are more happy will be drawn to techno music because it is a high energy rush, is motivating, and one does not have to think what the music is saying to you. people who are sad may be drawn to more serious music, such as love songs, classic opera and classical music they probably turn to this music to help soothe, and relax them. also age makes a huge difference to what music you like

well, if you like techno, that probably means you're energetic and socially active (since it is essentially club music) so i don't think techno makes you happy necessarily, but I think happy people are more inclined to listen to it than someone who's bummin. When I'm bummin, techno is the last thing I want to hear.

I think music in general has a way of being soothing. Perhaps it gets your attention off of something which is more difficult to handle. It is also a matter of liking vs. disliking (in my own opinion).
