Why does some teachers challenge me to the max and beyond and others don't?

My psychology teacher makes the class do RFI ( refence facts information ) to everything we do. For example, she makes us look up defintions in the book, but we must have examples facts and other stuff. But my history class and my PE class has us look for defintions but when a student wants to give the teacher their own defintions the teacher says " Just give me what the book says. " Why are teachers so damn retarded?

Good teachers will inspire us to learn more and also learn from us.. The bad ones are basically lazy to inspire us and at the same time, they are afraid of not being able to answer what we have sourced from outside causing embarrassment to himself/herself..

Teachers are people. Some are motivated, some are caring, and some are simply not. Some, sadly, are truly lazy people.

Be thankful for the ones who care. They don't make enough money to care, they aren't paid to teach well - just to teach. The truly inspiring teachers are real gems.

Some teachers don't care. They don't care if their students fail/pass, succeed in life, or basically anything. They just want to put food on the table.
