Oh tell me about it, I always shut my gate and like to keep it shut, its makes a noise when you open it and alerts me to people coming up the path (my ex is stalking me so its helpful!).
However no-one else shuts it, I think its so rude and it really annoys me!

Because they are lazy, I have this problem all the time, but mostly with people pushing leaflets through, but I get great satisfaction when I see someone halfway to my door and only then spot my dog come running around from the back of the house at them, funny that even though they run to get out the gate that's the time they do close it after them.

simple! put up a sign at the entrance of your property tell people what you want fom them after they walk into your property...........
if some still don't get it kindly remind them as soon as possible before they go too far from the gate.

I assume it is illegal immigrates that are doing this. If I was you I would ask nicely. If they don't follow the rules then give the minutemen a call. If that fails then take matters in your own hands and start a sniper program with paint guns.

i know what you mean! its so so annoying!! ask people to do it as they leave or come in, if they have just come in make them go back and close the gate, im sure they will soon learn! :)

Usually a closed gate is to either keep things in,or things out.....Why are these people trespassing anyway.....

Stop having them over...only invite those who are thrilled to visit with you and who contribute.
