Check 'Slapton Sands' by Marion Hoffman. The truth may never really be known as the disaster was one of the biggest 'cover ups' of the war.
Dumbass the incompetence that allowed the rehearsal ships to be attacked was covered up at the time and even to-day some details are classified(after over 60 years) All the books you read (you can read?) were written after the event most of them years after. Keeping taking your pills you may get better but I don't think so.

Hey Rob, how could it be "one of the biggest 'cover ups' of the war." if every book I have ever read about D-Day has mentioned it?

You are such a tool.

Used by American forces as training ground for 'D' Day.

Americans didn't protect training area with naval craft - landing craft attacked by German 'E' Boats - many American soldiers shot or drowned as a result. Another example of American arrogance, ignorance and stupidity.
