How can I save all of my books from getting damaged and eaten by bugs and mites. My apartment is very moist, especially the closets, where I am currently storing my books and boxes. some of them are growing mold and I notice little mites in them. My space is limited, so I need something that works and clutter free.

you can now buy these airtight plastic containers (kinda like huge tupperware) that are large, about 2' x 3' and very low, about 6". they have wheels on them and are made to roll under the bed. we use them to store linens. depending on how big your bed is, and where its located, you can fit from 2-4 underneath. dry the books out before you put them in, or put them in with a few packs of silica (anti-dessicant)
