buy some sexy underwear dress up nice cook a nice meal and then light some candles and incense and use some aromatic massaging oils on each other and have some fun tell him how much you appreciate and love him and get him a little present as well

1.. Give her flowers..
2.. Have a romantic Dinner, fire place, under candle light, covered up in a small blanket..
3.. Take her to get pampered..
4.. Take a walk on the Beach, under the stars, walking hand in hand, tell her how much you love her, make good eye contact, go walk next to the waves, sit down on a safe place and watch the sunset..
5.. Tell her a poem, something that she might like, something that is of love and compassion..
6.. Hold her in your arms, do all you can to make her life in that moment, the most precious time, that she would not forget...

We don't know your partner so it might be kind of difficult. For all we know he is freaky, kinky weird. Try a nice home cooked dinner and followed up with a back rub. I wouldn't take him Christmas shopping for a week or make him spend three days at his in-laws place. Men hate shopping unless it is for a specific piece of merchandise.

Well, with most men romantic = sexual. So, I would say do something sexually that you do not normally do...but be prepared for him to want it more LOL
If your partner is a woman, she might think nearly anything is romantic, but try a bubble bath.
