I've been sick for 5 days. It started with flu symptoms and tonsilitis. Then I started feeling sick and yesterday I spent the whole day vomiting. I feel hungry but don't know whether I should eat because my stomach still feels weak and I've had enough of vomiting. Is there anything I can eat which I know won''t upset my stomach and cause me to bring it back up in an hour or so?

you need to go slow, try these, in this order, wait after each one, for 15 mins to half hour, see if you vomit again, if not, continue to next one, if so, wait an hour and repeat

couple of teaspoons of clear fluid,,,, water, tea,,,

teaspoon of clear fluid and a cracker

crackers and broth or toast and tea, or any combo of those,,,,, a little of each one

soft foods, soup, mashed potatoes, more toast, tea, dont do over half cup of any one thing

just make sure to not put too much in, till you know your over the vomiting, slowly build up the crackers/toast/soft foods,, for a day or even two

Crackers, toast, no spices, salt etc for your sensitive stomach and lots of water for the dehidration (herb teas might be good too, especially mint); and get better soon!
