if you was dating someone and they said they will leave you if they have to give up their hobby for a while. how would that make you feel?

Relationships are about give and take. If your partner would rather choose a hobby over spending time with you then I think more fool them. Initially you would be gutted but I'd say you're better off without them. They need to get a life!!!
