i think the best would be, to contact a psychologist (sp)(who uses talk therapy), not a psycharitrist (they like to hand out pills),,,,,,,,its good to talk with someone to get to the bottem of what is causing all this anger,,,, often these things relate back to childhood, maybe unresolved issues, or how anger was handled in the family,,,,, most cities have a local mental health office, where you can get free or less expensive help,,,,,, also you can check out books on the subject at the library,,,, and even check online for the topic or support groups,,,

Hi Tnisha It sounds like a chronic habit you developed somewhere in your life. If you've always had this problem, it's very likely one of your parents deals with their frustration in the same way. You have to re-parent yourself in this area. First - there are several anger management books in bookstores or available online. Second - almost every city or town has an anger management support group where you can learn how to control your anger before it gets full-blown. Third - This also falls under Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy. Try a local mental health clinic, if you don't have the money to see a therapist, or find a psychologist who deals with Anger Management issues. Sorry to tell you this, but as we get older, our bad habits get even worse unless we intervene and change. Good luck.

Is there a crisis hotline in the papers you can refer? Ask for the support groups that are open for new members. Some are closed because they have already constituted a group with the members already sharing on a deep level. If there isn't a specific group for Anger, it's ok to go to a Codependent group or even AA. It doesn't matter that you don't drink or take drugs. The program serves everyone with any addiction, including anger or anger issues.

Anger management is great. I have a brother in law that went through that program (ordered by the judge) and he is actually like able now. Now His wife need to go. Call mental health and ask them about the anger management program, or call the police department. I cannot stand to be around an uncontrollable person who makes everyone miserable that is around them. I suffer from depression already, I do not need an uncontrollable fool to make me feel worse. GET HELP and you will have a happier life. GOOD LUCK!!!

Firstly, when your about to explode, take a deep breath and swallow your anger. Then, just back out of the room and go do something to help you relax. Get a drink, take a hot bath, listen to some soothing music or talk to a friend. And all the methods, you have to be alone. If you want to talk to a friend, only talk to one or two. Being in a noisy room will just give you a headache, and make you more irritable and angry.

Keep a small voice recorder. When you get angry, get to a place where no one else can hear you. Now switch on that voice recorder and say all the things that you wanted to say.
It will relieve you of your anger and when you listen to that recording later you'll probably laugh at yourself.

You need to re-think before you say anything.
It will be difficult but try to think before you act.
Think through your positive qualities and ask yourself 'what makes me so angry?'. Its helps if you discuss it with mates/parents/relatives. Good luck to ya
