I don't know of any websites off hand, but here is some sage advice. Whether you are a friend of the bride or a friend of the groom, make sure you focus on their relationship and not just YOUR relationship with them. I've noticed this at several weddings, and it seems tacky.

If you can't come up with anything else, here is what my brother-in-law said at my wedding since he didn't know me very well: He spoke about how he knew his brother (my husband) first loved me. It was a very cute story.
