No load of rubbish!! as we all know smoking anything is bad for you and i am a smoker so im not going on! If you smoke normal ciggies they have a filter, if you are smoking rollies without a filter tip they are actually more harmful.
People say roll ups are better for you because you dont tend to smoke as many in a day!!
Hope this helps xx

The tobacco in roll-ups is different to manufactured cigs. First off: with roll your owns the tobacco leaf is air-dried and the sugar content evaporates. With manufactured cigs the tobacco is kiln-dried and the sugar content is crystallised in the leaf and this is what makes the cigs taste sweeter, , plus extra sweeteners are also added in the form of cocoa etc. Of the two types of tobacco the roll your own is by far the strongest and is very bad for you. The ready made cigs also contain saltpetre that causes them to continue burning whether you puff on them or not. Saltpetre is a very harmful ingredient and causes burning of soft tissues etc. I smoke roll-ups but know I shouldn't smoke any whatsoever. Be a happy puffer and die young.

No matter what you smoke, it is still unhealthy. Just ask my grandma. Actually you can't. She died last Friday because of smoking. She smoked from as far as I can remember and was diagnosed with Emphasyma three years ago. She gave up smoking straight the way but it was too late. Damage was done. For the last three years I have had to watch her struggle to breath through an oxygen mask, lose her independance, watch my grandad become her full time carer and eventually see her die. If you would like this to happen to you, carry on smoking. If not, quit now. I loved my grandma very much and I would not wish it upon anyone to have to watch this happen to someone they love.

I cough more when I smoke tailor-made for some reason, and bulk is cheaper to buy, but still I'm wrecking my lungs but don't wish to quit. The doctor told me I'm in the early stages of emphesyma, but still hasn't clicked in. Been smoking since I was 13 and it's just not something I don't do anymore,

June thirtieth would be 25 years for me. i replaced right into a rather heavy smoker... 2-3 packs of Marlboro Reds an afternoon, besides the fact that it wasn't that undesirable. i in my opinion had to stop, so i think of that helped. i'm soooo happy that i don't smoke anymore. and that i'm constantly careful, as i rather have faith that i might strengthen into addicted back with only one cigarette. sturdy good fortune and save up the sturdy artwork.

I think the lack of filter would make roll-ups unhealthier. I smoked rollies for a few years and it made my teeth nasty too. Cost a fortune to get them cleaned up.

it's pro-roll up propaganda. Roll-ups are way worse. There's no filter so it's worse. Also, a larger percentage of the smoke you are inhaling is from the chemically bleached roll-up paper that you are using, also pretty poisonous.

Apparently roll-ups aren't as bad for you as they aren't as jam-packed with tobacco and loose baccy doesn't tend to have as many added nasties, like tar, as cigarettes do.
Having said that, neither is particularly good for you - New Year is always a good time to try and quit... :)
Though I did hear about a 103 year-old French lady who swore by her roll-ups and wine and was still going strong!

a cig is a cig is a cig is a cig,, the only good thing about roll-ups is that they go out if you don't continually smoke them. BUT don't be fooled, they can and do cause cancer, and all other side ailments of a ready made gigarette.....................GIVE THEM UP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. You 'll live longer.........
