It depends on what you want to do / what environment you want.
The Philippines is great and has cheap and nice places. If you want to be near the sea google Puerto Galera and/or Subic bay.

Hi,
In general, south east Asia is inexpensive.
If you wanna enjoy beaches, go to Samui or Phuket (Thailand) and Bali (Indonesia). Nightlifes, you can go to Bangkok. Branded shopping haven, Singapore.
With cheap flight, you can even wandering those countries mentioned. Some cheap flight are: airasia, adam air, valuair and many more. To book room can try: orientholiday.com
Also, you can try cruise ship too!!
