I just purchased a used 2003 Mustang GT and it's a manual transmission. I've never had a manual transmission before but hey, with a car like that automatic just isn't right. (I know how to drive a stick so that's not the issue) So, how do you lay down some rubber???

Rev the engine to about 5500rpm and bump the clutch when I say dump let you foot off the clutch fast as you push the gas to the floor and hold on

first find an empty parking lot, or desserted road. Don't want to hurt anyone or smash anything if you loose control. High HP, and not much weight make rear end loose.

Then rev up 4000+ Rpm, clutch down, 2nd gear, pop clutch and hold on. maybe power brake it by holding foot on brake and gas same time?

Mind you, excessive tire noise is a police violation, and will wear out clutch and tires quickly so I don't recomend doing on new tires. but hell you only live once.

With car standing still but in gear with the clutch depressed (try this in 2nd gear), rev the engine to maybe 4000-4500.

Release the clutch quickly and stomp the gas pedal. Hang on to the steering wheel for dear life.

Normefoo is right and after you do that hold the gas pedal to the floor and as fast as you can quickly slam the clutch to he floor for just a half a second, jerk the shifter into second gear and haul ***. You have just speed shifted. 03 GT is fun car to have. I just sold my 02 GT and man I miss haulin asss in that thing.

using max horsepower in the process the transmission is annoying on each and every thing- motor transmission, driveline and tires. are you able to do it slightly? probable. If peeling out is your sort of utilising, you may evaluate getting a drag racing transmission with a miles better stall velocity. anticipate eventual problems with the driveline- rear end, axles, U-joints, etc.

put a banana under the wheel.

SImple answer you don';t, it's silly and damaging to the clutch and driveline.

ther is a big diffference between peeling out and exacting maximum traction and acceleration from the vehicle.

well it is quit easy to peel out using a manual tramission. that is if your vehicle has the power to do it or not if your vehicle has the power all you do is give your vehicle alot of gas and let off of your clucth real fast you should be burning the tires right off of your vehicle.
