The parents of the gods? Or Godparents?

Who are the parents of the gods? Man, since he created the them..

Who are Godparents? Only the lucky few.

It would be helpful if you had given a little more detail to your question.

God does not have parents. He has no beginning and no Creator. He is the Creator!

Revelation 4:11 says: "You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created."

God created all things, no one created him and because of His will all created things exist.

It's hard for us humans, who have a beginning, to understand this, but we are talking about God. We will never fully understand all about Him. He does teach us enough about Him though, how good His qualities are, how kind and loving He is.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 says: "Everything he has made pretty in its time. Even time indefinite he has put in their heart, that mankind may never find out the work that the [true] God has made from the start to the finish."

Romans 11:33,34 says: "O the depth of God's riches and wisdom and knowledge! How unsearchable his judgments [are] and past tracing out his ways [are]! For who has come to know Jehovah's mind, or who has become his counselor?"

God

[24:35] GOD is the light of the heavens and the earth. The allegory of His light is that of a concave mirror behind a lamp that is placed inside a glass container. The glass container is like a bright, pearl-like star. The fuel thereof is supplied from a blessed oil-producing tree, that is neither eastern, nor western. Its oil is almost self-radiating; needs no fire to ignite it. Light upon light. GOD guides to His light whoever wills (to be guided). GOD thus cites the parables for the people. GOD is fully aware of all things.

[24:36] (God's guidance is found) in houses exalted by GOD, for His name is commemorated therein. Glorifying Him therein, day and night -

God has no beginning. Therefore He needs no cause. The laws of cause and effect only apply to finite, contingent things that had a beginning. God is an infinite, necessary being that had no beginning. Therefore, he needs no cause. He is the first cause.

As the supreme being, God is the 1st. There was nobody before him, and countless generations have been spawned since his arrival. God himself is his own parent. LOL
