This quote must be from someone that has never loved at all and thinks their missing something.

I personally wish I would have never loved at all, I feel I would have been a happier person without it.

What do you think?

addicted to piercings: I can relate to what your saying. I graduated college a few months before my highschool sweetheart graduated highschool and gave her an engagement ring thinking she could go to college herself and we'd be happy from then on. But she broke up with me a few months later and I never saw her again. We always got along perfectly so I didn't see it coming either. That was twenty years ago and I gave up ever trying again but still wonder how things would have been. I think it would've been nice to have someone to laugh with and hold in my arms.

I'm sorry you're down & out my friend but you wouldn't be hurting so much if you didn't truly love someone. And although you r hurting now u should be thankful that u know how to love.It seems so easy but there r so many who don't have this gift simply because they were never loved.Be grateful that love has visited you for it has left you strength that you will find after the pain.Hope your broken heart mends soon.Best of wishes for you

Love is harsh but on the flip side it is a wonderful feeling and No I don't think you are Better off not loving , Yeah It hurts Like H^&* when that love is gone But You take that loss as a learning experience and apply it to the Next Romantic Interlude You will have, Love is part of Who We are No Matter how much We try to Suppress it , I too sometimes curse love , But I am also Lucky to have Love

this quote from wuthering heights is one that i totally disagree with. on a personal level, i have loved and lost. the loss was so deep and so painful, that in retrospect, it makes me wish i never loved at all.
it's over 35 years since this romance ended. the pain is still just below the surface. i was truly in love with this girl and she literally broke my heart. i didn't see the breakup coming. i thought our relationship was perfect. in fact, i had bought an engagement ring to propose to her on her college graduation day. one week before graduation the DEAR JOHN letter arrived.
the love of my life wanted her freedom. i was standing in her way.
i often think about her. i forgive her because i still love her. i sometimes daydream that we meet and rekindle our relationship right where we left off.
if you're reading this response, E-L-N, know that i still love you!

That verse would not be as popupar if it were not so. It is really better to have experienced how to love and be loved. Did you have a broken heart? Just remember as in the lyrics of song, "If at first you dont succeed, just try and try again."
