I can so picture Woody Allen coining that line in his next movie...

What you get is a really big and possibly ugly debate on how you're going to bring up the kids, that's for damn sure. Even worse if it's the woman who's Jewish since Judaism is primarily 'handed down' through the mother's side (this is what I heard from a close Jewish relative). The Catholic church is not against inter-faith marriages, but specifies that the kids must be baptised and brought up Catholic.

And then, of course, there's the awkward thing about inviting relatives of BOTH faiths to the wedding reception...
