I was in a 5yr relationship. We decided to seperate because we were having problems. We've been seperated for about a year but still seeing each other. She tells me she loves me but can't get back together with me right now. She's 38yrs old with no kids and recently moved to PA (Im in MD). We've been seeing each other (sexually) and talking on the phone everyday. I've been feeling insecure because everytime I ask her to get back together she says "not right now". Im confused because she tells me she loves me and still insist that I'm the only person she's seeing sexually but one time I got a copy of her phone bill and found out she was talking to another guy. She denied it until I showed her proof. She left Thursday for a trip 2 Jamaica with 6 of her girlfriends. She called me from the airport and told me that one of the 6 husband was going. I was upset because it was suppose to be only women. She hasn't called me yet to let me know if she made it and has turned her phone off. WTF?

Dear friend, I know THE EXACT ANSWER !!
She left you but she is not having any other "Reliable" man. But she is waiting for one. Meanwhile she is establishing relations with you JUST TO SECURE HER FUTURE TERMS. Everytime she says "not right now"......right??? It means if she will get a man better than you she will leave you and if she wont get one she will tell you that she always loved you only and now is ready to be with you.

Did you get it my friend??? She doesn't love you truely by her heart, she is being your partner just to create the possibilties for being with you in future IF and ONLY IF she doesn't get any other man.

I wish Good Luck to you.
And hope you will take an Smart decision.
Bye

Plain and simple? Cut her loose, my friend. She's not on the up and up. 38 for a woman is like her second time turning 13...she's about to hit 40 and going nuts. I know...I'm 46. Thats a bad age...let her go. If you want to wait a year or so for her? Ok. But if you were my son/nephew, I'd tell you to drop her like a hot rock. She's not mature for a serious relationship. Just my two cents and almost 5 decades of experience...

It seems like she wants to do her own thing for a while, but she doesnt want to completely let go of you either. In other words she wants to have her cake and eat it too. She wants to party and have fun without you, and she wants you to still be there if she decides she wants you back. My suggestion to you is go out and have some fun of your own and you may find you like someone elses company better. If you ever come to Chicago look me up sweetie! : )

It's over and you should move on.
She just doesn't know how to tell you because she really does care but caring is not being in Love.
There was a reason you two split to begin with and she hasn't gotten past it completely it seems.

sounds like she just needs some space, so give it to her, if i were you i wouldn;t call her , let her do all the chasing,, as much as it may hurt you, at least you will know what the hell is going on from the outcome,, if she wants you she will come to you,

Give her some time, it's the only way. If you push her for anything, you'll be pushing her away. Give her some space, it sounds like that's what she needs for awhile.

Tell her if she doesn't give you a definite answer about your future together, you'll start dating other women.
