how do i get police impound car? they seem real cheap. is this safe.

second , how do i get in to car auction. i live in austin tx,

third , i always like euro style clear tailgate light. what car does it look good on. i was thinkin 98 honda civic ex

Call the PD's administrative number for information about impound auctions. Are they safe? Depends upon the vehicle. Many don't even have keys so you can't even run the engine. Those that do have keys may be started but cannot be test driven. As a result prices tend to be very low since they are a very risky proposition.

For access to auto auctions, look them up in the Yellow Pages and call them. Some are open to the public. Others are limited to licensed dealers only.

Many of the so-called "Euro" style clear taillights are illegal. Stop, tail, and turn signals must have the proper colored lenses and many of those depend upon using colored bulbs. The also lack the reflectors mandated by federal law. I'm still trying to figure out why they're called "Euro" style though. I travel to Europe many times a year and rarely see them over there.

call the police department, the none emergency number listed in your phone book, and ask them about their auctions,,,,,,for other auctions, look in the newspaper,,, or call say the credit union /unions in your city
as to the taillights, i have no idea
