hi there! sorry I have to answer you here coz the space for email isnt enough and i dont know your exact email....I will explain
but first, let me tell you that I am not trinitarian, that is why I do not believe that Jesus and God 'is' one. Trinitarian people says those stuff that Jesus is God at the same time when he was a man on earth. but i tell you, its really something so difficult to understand because it is not true.
I answered your question in view of our own belief....that Jesus is the Son of God, he being a different person from God the Father, and from the holy spirit, God's power.I did put there that if they tell you God and Jesus 'is' one....dont believe them.
Spirit creatures dwell in heaven and they are called angels right....why do I say that Jesus is an angel?
God was alone at first, he then created the very first angel, this angel he loved the most and helped him create the other angels and creation. This very first angel is who we know now as Jesus, he is called the only-begotten son because he is the only creation created by God without help (hope u get my point its going around sorry.)
Proverbs 8:30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time.
Colossians1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist, 18 and he is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things; 19 because [God] saw good for all fullness to dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile again to himself all [other] things by making peace through the blood [he shed] on the torture stake, no matter whether they are the things upon the earth or the things in the heavens.
Genesis 1:, “Let us make man in our image.” - Here God said 'us' so he is speaking to someone it appears right? well, since Jesus is the master worker, they were speaking to each other, clearly they are two different persons.
When Adam and Eve sin, God made a ransom sacrifice....and Jesus being the obedient son gave up his heavenly position as an archangel and became human.
When Jesus was a man on earth, God is still in heaven. Jesus was able to perform miracles because of the holy spirit, God's power.
It would be too confusing to comprehend Jesus praying to himself right? or Jesus saying to himself, My God why have you forsaken me and...Who bought Jesus back to life when he died? And trinitarians will tell you that he is god over death...hehe i just laugh.
Another verse that proves God is different from Jesus: “He not only died for us—he rose from the dead, and there at God’s right hand he stands and pleads for us.” -Romans 8:34
Jesus was by the side....=D
good day!

He should have hired an editor. It is far to wordy. It might impress some professor of history but it falls far short of good prose.
