Hey you people... easy on the guy... He did not make any of that up... This is all stated in Quran and sunna, even more... How do I know? I am a christian who was forced to memorize Quran and sunna 15 years in all my school stages to pass exams... And translate them in the university.. and hey it is practically all around me.. Daily 5 calls for prayer... 100s of TV programs and channels.. And while we christians get only the two feast masses transmitted on national TV around the year, we get to watch upto 10 Islamic shows only on the two national channels... Talk about brain washing... To tell you the truth... They are not that good at it.. because being a christian shows you how naive and retarded they are. You don't want to be one of those.

friends in arabic translates to helper and protector. This verse is meant for when in war with jews and christians. meaning do not trust your enemy when engaging in war. It absolutely does not mean don't be friends with them in any other case, just war. My best friend is jewish and im muslim. theres no problem. im practicing my religion by being kind to humanity.
and if you want to understand any other verse, look it up on this website and read the commentary and try to understand it without your paradigm. Everything has a deeper meaning that you cannot see because of your closed eyes and mind. You need to look past it and read the meaning. You are not fluent in arabic, you do not know the roots of arabic you do not know the background stories, you do not know the histories, you do not know the sayings of the prophet. You are simply a man living and breathing for the sake of spreading hate and animosity for Islam because God knows why.

I feel verry sorry for muslims who have to follow the laws of a demon posessed man . Satan dont want from people anything else then to reject Jesus as the Saviour becouse he knows that Jesus is the way to The Father ,thats why satan made up the Quran to deceive and mislead people away from the truth .

Most of them are just ways to dehumanize women, and take away any rights they had previously been given under jewish laws. Of course, the prophet was exempt from any of those laws, since he stole, murdered, raped, and committed adultery by having 27 wives, Oh, and he also married a 6 year old which even then was considered wrong, unless as a means to join two kingdoms.

It is mistranlated and taken out of cultural and temporal context, not to mention literary context.
Mohammed talked quite highly of women and adored his wives. He brought many new freedoms to Arabian Women that they previously did not have. Many muslim women are well respected all over the world. Some are not. But some Christians beat and rape their wives too.
Please don't let a small minority of fundamentalist reflect on a religion as a whole. Christians are supposed to burn gays and witches too. Not to mention all the obscure laws of the old testament they've abandonded.
