That is what we are sinners.WE are not saints. For the rest of our lives we can try,if we choose to try.

Yes, He had and still has victory over sin and death.
Never said we wont sin. But the victory lies in that His blood covers our sin. And that we can be saved from death, by grace.

But I think Christians (me included) sometimes abuse the grace. Thats why I have started to look at Judaism and the OT. I desire to please G-d. He gave us the law. When I screw up, yes Jesus grace will cover me. But today we use that as an excuse to not even attempt to keep it.

Not for me anymore. Tomorrow at sundown is the sabbath and I'm keeping it! Threw out all my pork. Gonna scrub the fridge. Not cuz I have to, I just desire to live by the word, not just speak it. Pray for me in this new thing G-d laid on my heart.
Blessings,
David

Your sunday school teacher is not well-trained? You misunderstand about Christianity.
It is not that Jesus died on the cross and your sins are gone - ok.

Jesus was crucified because of teaching what is the way and the truth of God. ppl who understand His way, repented from doing sins and follow His way, are saved and called born again. That way is Christianity.
