OMG! I mean like this TOTALLY happened to me this one time! This guy was so unbelievably fricken ugly, but he was so incredibly sweet and really fricken nice. Anyways, people at school totally laughed at me, but I so totally didn't care at all!!!!!!!!!! So, me and ugly dude went to the junior/senior prom and everything!!! We totally stood out, though, what with him being so incredibly ugly, and me being mediocre in the looks department, but not ugly, I can assure you of that. Anyways, we eventually got married and had ugly babies together. The End.

Honestly? There has to be SOME sort of physical attraction. However, I have been on dates with guys that I haven't found instantly attractive. I guess because to me a guy might be ugly to someone else...but their personality makes up for it.
Trust me. I think I realize this now after the fact that I've been through middle school and high school and no longer care about what people are going to do if I were to date an "ugly" person.
So I say. Who cares what other people think?

I actually never date anyone if they are too good looking. I prefer guys who are mediocre at best. They usually have better personalities. In the past, I have been on dates with really good looking guys. I have felt physical chemistry with these guys, but have never made a mental connection with them. I usually do not return their phone calls. I'l usually give anyone a chance to get to know me, but it's the not-so-hot ones that I usually end up falling for. These people seem to be more intellectual, and also more emotionally intelligent, intuitive, understanding and compassionate.
I don't really have any respect for the type of people that would laugh at me because of who I date, so it wouldn't bother me. I probably would have been laughing at THEM before I even met my boyfriend.

I'd go out with him. I'd be happy to have found such a nice guy - and who cares about what people at school think. If they're that shallow, then their opinion really doesn't matter anyway. Besides, if it's a nice guy, you may spend the rest of your life with him. You only have to put up with the people at school for a few years.

I kinda depends on how ugly you think he is. The most important part is personality but if there is no attraction at all the relationship probably wont last. Plus dont worry about what people say at school but if you really care about it then you probably dont want to go out with him.

I am 30 so the school thing doesn't pertain to me.... I can tell you from experience that just because someone is ugly on the outside, doesn't mean they will always be ugly.... I met a guy in HS that i thought was fugly. One day i was talking to him and i looked over at him, and I thought d**n, he looks good. I know young people don't always believe it, but a person personality can and will shine through. Just like a beautiful person, can be ugly as sin once you get to know them.
Bottom line, I would date anyone that made me happy and was good to me.

Of course! I never try to judge a book by it's cover. When I was in high school I had a bf that my friends thought was ugly and they teased me about it, but I had great times with him and I'm glad I got to know him. While they were getting cheated on, I was happy and in love.

Who givesa rip about what other people think! If a guy likes me for who I am and he treats me right with kindnes and respect....thats all that matters. Ugly??? Ugly is a pretty guy who thinks he's all that!!

I honestly don't care about looks. I would go out with him. I don't care what others think of me. I know who and what I am and what I stand for and that is all that really matters.
