My American Bulldog is 5 years old and has had all his shots up to date. We recently moved him to a new house with no other dogs outside. hes in a huge backyard with a covered dog house. He started to vomit since 5am. Right now he has blood shot eyes, Runny Nose, white foamy vomit and a human like hacking cough/weezing.

Kennel cough doesn't exactly come from a kennel all the time. It is just called that because, like humans, when a bunch of dogs get together, and one is sick with basically a cold, the virus gets passed around.

Your dog may just have a cold. They get them just like humans do.

However, the loss of appetite and lack of energy ring some alrm bells...get the dog to the vet just to be safe.

Actually it sounds like parvo to me-although it's not common in older dogs it does happen. Parvo is deadly, but it can be cured sometimes by the vet. Take him immediately. Kennel cough doesn't cause vomiting and blood shot eyes.
The reason I think it's parvo is because of the symptoms, but also because of the move. If a dog has parvo, the virus can live in a yard for up to 3 years if the environment is untreated (sprayed with bleach water). So if the previous tenants had a dog that had it, even as far back as 3 years ago, the environment could have still been contaminated. My brother just lost a 2 year old dog to parvo-please hurry to the vet. The treatment is not that expensive-about $80-100, but it is only treatable in early stages.

Its probably Kennel Cough, very contagious and is curable with special antibiotics. If he is not vaccinated against it, have the vet give him his shots to protect him from the basic dog diseases and he will be fine. When I had a kennel, I wouldnt let my pups touch other dogs or the ground until they had their first shots , usually a 7 way virus protection.

Please take your dog to a vet soon. Kennel cough is not limited to kennel-kept dogs. Unless you have done something such as change your dog's food or food type (dry to canned, for instance) vomiting indicates a real problem in an adult dog. Make sure he has all the water he wants and get him to a vet as soon as possible.

Do you know where the nearest vet is located? Then take your dog now, and stop asking questions. This is an emergency.

It could be any number of maladies, but he sure needs to be seen by a vet. It could be Distemper, if he hasn't been vaccinated, or pneumonia, or heart-worm..plus any of several heart/lung conditions.
