that is the difference between science and faith. The real question you should be worried about is whether you have faith in God or you have faith in mankind. You choose.

Bible does say God will destroy the heavens and earth and create new. I am not an authourity to say what perfect is but is is my impression there are many finely tuned aspects in the universe. I had a book that listed some of them but I have lent it out. I'll try and give through but honestly not sure how acurate I am remebering it. If the gravtiational force was off by a fraction the we would weigh about 20'000 pounds. even the way the atom is set up if it wre off by th slightest fraction everything would fly apart. I apologize I don't have the info at hand and am doing more of a disservice. Catch ya on th flip side. oh yeah for life to exist on earth there also has to be a number of different cycles hich we have. Salt cycles water cycles and others. Also we needed to have I think it was Iron at the core of earth in order for something like magnetic pole. And the moon had to be at right distance in order for some other crap. I forget. 2 Peter 3:12 & 13 tells of heavens being disolved and the promise of new heavens and earth.

The universe is either going to collapse into an unimaginable mass or it will coalesce into many large masses. This is fact.
How do you know? Can you really tell me that you KNOW, with absolute certainty, the way of the universe? A galaxy was discovered in 2003 that was so large it should not have been able to exist, by our laws of physics. And you're going to tell me that you know a fact (unsupported, i might add) about the universe? Something that we have yet to discover the edges of, in any direction? What if the universe IS infinite?
When it comes to discussing the UNIVERSE, this should be the only phrase used: "Your guess is as good as mine."

The value of lambda is a deep cosmological question. It seems very strange that the value for the expansion of the universe is just right at this time. I agree that applying myth to the unknown is absurd. There is much information out there about the universe we find ourselves in. Many people are lazy and take the easy way out: God did it, end of story. But that's them -- life goes on anyway, and "them" have no problem using a cell phone or a computer, courtesy of those devious scientists that explored the nature of light.

If man is a spiritual being he will not need the MEST (Matter, Energy, space and Time) Universe. What is matter but manifested energy?
In physics we have attempted to locate a piece of mass and to date have not found any. Its true character is energy. If that is true we are confronted with energy being the source of all existence. Whether the universe contracts or expands should not be of any concern to a spirtual being. A MEST based existence implies that life is present only in MEST. But it can be empirically demonstrated in OpPro by Dup, a process invented by L. Ron Hubbard, that man is a spirtual being and not MEST.
Your implication that mass determines God's or our existence needs re-examination.

The Bible and science both tell us the universe will not last forever. We know that already. There is much more to it than the physical world, though. God created Earth, and He told us it won't last forever, but if we do His will by accepting forgiveness in Jesus Christ and living as believers, we don't have to worry about that.

So you'd rather believe in theory of evolution? Apparently theory of evolution does not speak of the creation of flora in this world. It only speaks of how we humans came about. How then do you explain that the universe is created?

it is perfectly balanced and perfectly planned from A to Z. When it collapses or explodes it will be the end, Revelations. It's in the Bible. We already know how it turns out because He planned it and it's in the Book. The fool hath saith in his heart there is no God. Please continue to ask questions and learn of Him.

I guess you'd really have to be thinking outside the box to believe that perfection came from chaos.
God created the universe and He created it perfectly as He is perfect....And it was good...

The world isn't wonderful. If global warming doesn't kill us first the sun will either suck us in or blow us up. The world will eventually see the same fate every planet in the universe does.
