I guess Mike will prevail provided he will undergo a serious training ad preparation for this like he used to do in his early times.

In their primes, no question Tyson wins. Before Tyson unraveled with Robin Givens and going to jail, he was the most brutal puncher of all-time. While Moorer is a skilled fighter, his punching power was nowhere near the same caliber as Iron Mike, and he wasn't a particularly gifted defender to keep Iron Mike away. Nor was Moorer's jaw that granite. Tyson in his prime knocks Moorer out within 7, most likely within 4.

I would have to agree with Brad which is quite surprising, Moorer wasnt in the same league as Tyson at Heavyweight, Moorer would of maybe gone unbeaten if he had stayed at Light-Heavy throughout his career his punching power was destructive down there but at Heavy he became just another Heavy with a decent punch. Tyson during those early years had the same destructive knockout power at Heavyweight. Tua also had this power but wasnt as good a boxer as Tyson but look what he did to Moorer, i see a Moorer Vs Tyson fight going much the same way, early devastating KO by Tyson. Assuming the fight takes place when both fighters are in their primes.

Tyson - W 50 (KO's 43) TF 58 - W pct 86% - KO pct 74% - wins over Berbick, Spinks, Holmes, Williams, Biggs, Thomas, Ruddock{2}, Smith and Bruno - KO'ed by Holyfield[2], Lewis and Douglas (average fighter) - #16 ranked puncher - #72 ranked fighter
Tyson did not have Frazier's heart or will.
Moorer - W 47 (KO's 37) TF 52 - W pct 90% - KO pct 71% - wins over Williams, Cooper and Holyfield - KO 'ed by Foreman, Holyfield and Tua
Boxing fans criticize Moorer's lost to Foreman. He is a better fighter than given credit for. Tyson would be too ferocious for Moorer. Tyson by a 10 rd KO.

I go with Tyson on an KO in the first 3 rounds. To big, to fast and Moorer wasn't the stiffest jawed fighter in the world at heavyweight.

Michael Moorer was a bum. He got lucky when he won the heavyweight title. Tyson knocks him out in 3 rounds or less.

G'day Pancho,
Thank you for your question.
At his peak, probably Tyson. However, if Moorer could stay in the fight, he could win as Tyson might do something stupid such as chewing his ear.
Regards
