Jesus could have been any of those other races, only God chose the Jews instead more than 1800 years before Jesus came on the scene. Why did God choose the Jews? Because he wanted to, basically. That's it. It's God. He's not racist. He picked the Jews for whatever reason he picked them, and that was that. That's like telling you on your first day at a new job that:

"Hey, pick one person who you'll work with for the rest of the time you're working here. Here's a binder with every piece of info on everyone. Choose somebody, and let us know!"

So you choose somebody, based on whatever reasons. If you happen to choose an Asain person, do I get to call you racist? Or if you picked a caucasian, african, blah de blah, etc.? You picked someone. End of story. The world will deal with it. And so must you, even if the other person is an idiot. Just like God had to do with Israel.

Stop being so politically correct and touchy. God picked the Jews, end of story. He's not being racist; he's God, and bigger than everything ever. Honestly, from the Bible, it sounds like God picked the wrong group of people. Apparently he didn't.

As we know from the Book of Genesis, God was speaking to men before there were any real division of races...everything was by tribes and families but not like the races we know today.

Men of the early days became more concerned with their fleshly, physical life and did not want to talk with God or acknowledge him anymore, so the Flood came to destroy that way of life, then Noah's three sons (being saved by the big boat) had offspring that filled the corners of the earth today giving us various races.

God decided then, since the world was developing from families to tribes, and from tribes to nations, that the time was right to make an ambassador to mankind.

He chose a man from Ur, his name was Abraham. Abraham is the father of the Jewish nation. Also he had other sons which survive into the Arab peoples of today. But God made a deal with Abraham for this ambassadorship that would be through his legitamate son. Eventually, the family grew into the nation of Israel.

God needed an ambassador nation, because at the "fall of man", he promised to give a Mediator that would stand on behalf of mankind, for God is Judge as well as Creator. This ambassador is Yeshua Ha Messiach, Jesus the Christ by his Greek name. It was important to be born of the flesh of mankind, but carry a pure spirit - that is something only God can provide.

Christ gave the gift of Salvation. It saves man from the Law of God that no man can keep - which also condemns him. Since God made a pact with Abraham, the salvation is first for the Jew, second for every body else. But all are included and all are encouraged to come and know God.

So, God isn't racist. He made man to be a wonderful, incredible creature. He doesn't look at the outside appearance of man though, He prefers to peer into the heart and soul of a man, and weigh the contents inside.

The Word of God does not say that God was a Jew, just that they are His chosen people. I don't recall in the Bible where His nationality is said either. May God Bless

Seriously the book is written by Jews and you expect to see any major character who is not a member of the same group. If I am writing a book I am going to make sure that all the really cool characters are quite a bit like me. I don't mean that in a derogatory way but it is the truth.

The Jews were God's chosen people, blessed because of God's promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, though not His only people. He could only be one race, anyway, so a lot would be left out.

But it doesn't work like that. Jesus died for all God's people. God is not racist.

Jew is not a race. Semite is. Most Arabs are Semites and many Jews are Semites.

If the Bible is accurate then Adam and Eve were probably Semites, as was Jesus.

If the Bible is accurate then we all evolved from Semite blood lines.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible

The Apocalypse Of Saint John
Chapter 22

11 He that hurteth, let him hurt still: and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is just, let him be justified still: and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still. 12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to every man according to his works. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. 14 Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. 15 Without are dogs, and sorcerers, and unchaste, and murderers, and servers of idols, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent my angel, to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and stock of David, the bright and morning star. 17 And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come: and he that will, let him take the water of life, freely.

Does it matter?
He had to choose some race, it just happened to be a "Jew", as you put it.
More than that, it was prophesied, (in the old testament), that it would be a descendant of the family of King David.
