I remember reading that most color blind people can't see green, or red. So therefore, how do they deal with traffic lights?

Thanks =)

Ahh, I see, I thought that it would seem like how a traffic light looks whilst not working. But I think I kind of get it now. They see a light, but not necessarily the color. Makes sense.

being color blind does not mean you see everything in black and white. Most people with colorblindness have difficulty distinguishing between similar colors, ie. blue and navy blue........blue and purple....orange and yellow..and so forth. Rest assured, colorblind people can distinguish between the varying traffic lights, and they also get the full enjoyment that we get, when watching color television:)

It's only certain shades of color that's the problem. Colors like , yellow and orange or blue and purple. There is no trouble distinguishing between red and green.

you know the top is green and the bottom is red and you know which one is lighted despite the fact you dont know what color it is, and the one in the middle is yellow.

what a moron. when the lights are top to bottom red is always on top green is always on the bottom. When they are left to right Red is always on the left and green is on the right. Try reading a rules of the road book... obviously you have no drivers license or no brains.
