it kinda gives off a feeling that you feel he is messing up or being foolish which may or may no be the case
good question and a valid one to ask...
i think it's all in the approach never bring it up in an argument(or heated discussion) bring up the question when its just the two of you and he is in well his comfortzone so he doesnt feel trapped and chose your words wisely dont say when are you planning to to settle down tell me now or else..
its better to say well i was thinking i and i was just wondering something then ask a question relating to it to ease him into the conversation dont jump down his throat about any answer listen and try to be understanding no matter what the answer ....goodluck!

No it is not stupid to ask, But chances are he won't be able to answer it for you.
Most people can't answer it until it actually happens.
So choose the better ? When or at what age would you like to be able to settle down and have a family?

It depends on who and how your saying it.
If it's to your friend that you've known a year or so and you have a good reason to ask then no, it's not wrong.
You shouldn't ask someone that is younger than 30 though.

As said before.. depends on age you are. teenagers might not get it and just try to find someone else. however not all ofcourse but like i am in 20's and my girlfried said shes just not ready (to many things) yet respect it and for me its not a stupid question. so if guy likes u he will respect it if he uses you he will leave you.

I don't think anyone likes to be asked that.
I think it means that you think he's till kinda messed up, and that he needs to fix-up.
Yeah, it was stupid to ask that. I wouldn't like to be asked that.

Well if y'all are teenagers, probably so and it will scare him off. Mid to late 20's or later..that's reasonable.

Depends on the relationship. It is a fair question if you are his steady girlfriend/fiancee.

Bad question.....he is going to think you are ready and you always need to keep him wanting you and not you wanting him. Plus I'm only TWO points to reaching level two.....yeaaaaa
