A high side part tends to look good; a center part is too symmetrical, and if the part is too far to the side, you end up sweeping your hair horizontally across your face, and horizontal lines tend to make you look wider.

I have a round face and i part my hair on the side. I sometimes part it in the middle too...it looks good either eay...so you have options

Just make sure you don't have short bangs..get long layered bangs.
