I bought an esquire quest watch--its 30m water resistant. Would it be ok to shower with it?

yeah man you're good. Think about how deep 30 meters is. Thats about 90 feet. so in other words three atmospheres of pressure. unless your showering in a submarine dont worry.

resistant 30m just means that once it gets that deep, they cant guarantee that itl be okay. shower/pool/splashing should be fine. if its a nice watch i would take it off anyway. if its just a sports watch dont worry

You should be just fine - the only thing you will have to worry about is getting the excess water out of the band when you are done. I think it feels funky myself.
