I know being parents can be very busy, but come on, you gotta leave some time for yourselves. Or you know, you'll have a major PMS ing (Pre mid life stressing). You gotta add pleasure to yourself from time to time.
I, as a father of a six month adorable son, was able to fit in a bath or two, while his mother took over, and vise versa. Yes, it's ok for men to take baths, after all, I gotta enjoy my beautifully remodeled bathroom;not shamed of my masculinity. Besides it does wonders for her and my aching backs.
Yes, am a father who feeds and holds his child (almost) as much as mother.
A father's two cents......

Take time to relax, kids feel when parents are stressed. Your spouse should watch the child/ren while you take a long quite bath. Get a radio and some candles go and relax in the tub. I use to tie a washcloth on the door knob when my kids were younger to let them know it's mommy's quite time. Now they know if they here the music in the bathroom ,DON"T KNOCK.(they are 16 and 13 now). But you have to take care of yourself in order to take care of them.

I can only get a bath in when either a) my husband is home, or b) when the kiddos are asleep. I can jump in a 5 minute shower, but no baths otherwise.

I took baths with my son till he was 3. Before he was old enough to take a bath with me I'd stick him in his activity chair or swing and bring him into the bathroom with me while I took a bath.

Yes, everything was cut short when I became a mother. Baths, meals, cleaning, reading, having a moment to think, everything was condensed. Things will get better. Now that my kids are older and are always either at school or at sleepovers, I almost have too much time!
(notice I said 'almost!')

I havent been able to take too many baths after my kids were born....between work, & kids & chores...I have learned how to take 5 min or less though...LOL...
Even to this day, I try to take a bath & my kids freak out...they think it is weird that I might want to hang out in a tub of water...since I am forever rushing them, to get out of the tub, so they dont turn to prunes....lol

i love my baths!! Since having our 2 girls they are becoming less and less. Once a week, i take a glass of wine, a good book, run a bath and hubby looks after kids and puts them into bed..thats my time!! one hour per week, better than nothing!!Otherwise its in and out of showers....

I find that any relaxing baths are taken when all the mites are asleep and chores are finished - often at midnight

Yes, I stop having those privileges. when the kids are in the school I take sometime to relax,. It is hard knowing I have to do laundry, dinner, clean etc. plus I don't like to live them with babysitters.
