If I remember correctly, alcohol is a vasodilator, meaning that it causes your blood vessels to open, releasing more heat.

Alcohol helps to dilate blood vessels, plus, your body suddenly has a LOT more fuel to generate heat. In addition, since alcohol is a toxin, your body is doing its best to flush out the alcohol any way it can - that's why you sweat and urinate more after drinking.
