I found maggots in my Froot Loops.
Once I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and when I opened the sweet and sour sauce, (it was in a big paper bowl), there was this humongous fly sitting on top of it; dead. Somene must have obviously placed it there as a decoration or something.

Once I found this little black knob...I couldn't figure it out...thought it musta been something that fell off a piece of equipment at the factory... I had just moved into this apartment and I was cooking tomatoes with sausage to serve with macaroni....well.after I gagged for a while I finally figured out what it was...it was the dirty old knob off the stove that I was using... the small knob that sets the time on the clock etc....the gross part was that the knob was now clean and the dirt musta been in my food and I had already eaten some GROSS!! I have never made that dish since...I also found a packing slip fried into a battered shrimp that I was eating at Ponderosa...(it was written in chinese) lol...another time I was sucking on a mint and could feel this bristley thing in the mint...took the mint out of my mouth and it was BUG legs right inside the candy YUCKY

A shard of glass. It was in some ham & bean soup that I had made. I didn't have any "glass" glasses in my house as I had little kids at the time. The only thing I can think of is that it was in the dry beans I started the soup with. I had rinsed them as the instruction state, but maybe I missed it in that process. It was like 3/4 of an inch long. It could have really hurt someone. I dumped the entire pot out .

A friend and I were walking around a mall waiting for the next showing of a movie, so we decided to get a bag of peanut butter cups. As we walked and talked, we ate the candy -until I happened to look at one of the wrappers I'd just opened. We'd already devoured about half the bag when I noticed a dead roach and roach eggs. We both felt instantly sick to our stomachs, but what surprised me the most was that my friend got mad at me for bringing his attention to the problem...
