Clinton had a remarkable administration. Aside from ushering in the Baby Boomers as the leaders of the nation, he did a lot of work to repair our healthcare system, balanced the national budget (and left a surplus, even for the first time in like 30 years or something) and did a good job in international relations - particularly with Madeline Albright as Secretary of Defense. He tried to repair damage done by Reagan to the student aid programs and I, for one, was doing quite well for myself financially. The Dow Jones index hit all time highs, jobs were good. I'd give almost anything to have the Clinton days back again.

Bill Clinton was a good old boy who disgraced the presidency enough said. I am and Atheist and I still believe what he did was disgusting, Not the act but who he did it with. If he had did it with Hillery it would have been ok. Thank you for this forum to call Bill Clinton disgusting. I wouldn't defend President Kennedy as any better but at least Kennedy's was kept secret until after he was dead. XX Betty

Regardless of the conditions, the country was in great shape. The economy was at its peak, the dollar was strong and at the VERY least, the future looked bright for the US. Today, I would support whoever HE supports.

Did Bill Clinton do anything good? 8 years in office and I can't recall a single thing (not saying Bush is doing a better job, but come on - what did Clinton do that was so good for the country?)
