Try keeping yourself busy (distracted) with other things in your life. Go out with your friends, focus on your studies or work, spend more time with family, or take up a new hobby. This is a great time to focus on yourself and to enjoy being single.
Good luck and I hope everything works out for you. :)

You just have to try and keep yourself busy doing new things, like taking a class or learning new hobbies. Go out with your friends more, spend time with your family, do somethings around your house you've been putting off. Start exercising at a local gym, that is a great place to meet new people. If your ready, go out on a few dates, you don't have to get serious, just have a little fun. Maybe you could start writing a diary, keeping track of things that have went on in your life. I've done this on and off for about 5 years,,, it really helps, especially if you see pattern. Just stay positive and active, whatever you do, "Don't call him."

keep yourself busy and occupied!
hang out with your friends (only the positive ones)
Do as many things as you can to make yourself feel beautiful
Do the things that he never liked you to do! BECAUSE YOU CAN!
Pick up a new activity or hobby that you like that has nothing to do with him.
Keep a list of allllll the rotten things he has done to you! and when you start to feel sad about it read them! it will make you angry at him which is a better feeling because it feels more empowering than feeling sad!
KEEP BUSY!
YOU ARE AN AWESOME PERSON! KEEP REMINDING YOURSELF THAT! YOU DON'T NEED HIM TO BE AWESOME!
and remember! the sooner you get over him! The sooner you are likely to find the MAN of your DREAMS! I promise!
(a rebound is never a bad thing either)

Its hard but im sorry to say, your going to have to get over it. It hurts like hell but you have to move on. Go out more with close friends, and have fun. Just enjoy life. My mom always had this saying " The road is smooth then you come to bump, and all bumps are made to get over."
