It clearly depends on which game you are better at. Personally I like hi/lo because there are just so many fish who have no clue how to play it. This seems to make it easier to scoop some nice big pots.

Well, it depends on which one you're better at. Personally, I win more playing Omaha H/L than I do playing Omaha, Holdem or 7 Stud.
Regular Omaha is a lot like hold'em in that there is generally 1 winner per hand (Sometimes 2 if they split). OMaha H/L gives you 2 chances to win each hand (the high & the low) but it also gives you the chance of getting your big win cut in half by someone that has the low. The reason I like Omaha H/L though is because if you have a good high AND a good low hand, and if someone else feels certain they will be getting half the pot, you can usually get them to put all their chips in (Sometimes even before the river!) and then it's possible to clean them out.
Omaha H/L has proven to be the most profitable form of poker for me personally. Just try to be the 1 quartering someone else and not the person getting quartered. (Quartered refers to a pot that you only get 25% of. Say you and Joe Blow have the same low hand so you split the low payoff, but he wins the high so he keeps all that too. He takes 75% of the total pot, you take 25%. If you are the only 2 putting money in to begin with, getting quartered can cripple you in a hurry. Be careful about that!)
Good luck!

That simply all depends on what stakes you are playing and are you playing Fixed, Pot Limit, or No Limit. Omaha Hi/Lo will earn you bigger pots, however many of them will be split, you must look for scoop opportunities and don't look to trap. Omaha bettors will call you down.
