If you have pimples that have been hanging around for more than a week, it's diet related. Are you consuming dairy products? Milk, cheese, yogurt, and any other "healthy" dairy product as well. Or products made with dairy (milk chocolate, candies and cookies with hidden dairy ingredients). I had a client who at the "healthy" dairy products such as low fat milk and yogurt, but her skin was throbbing and acne infested. I suggested this one change to her, and she saw amazing results.
If so, eliminate diary for a week. Your pimples will dramatically reduce or be eliminated. :)
Rub cold icecubes on your throbbing pimples to reduce the swelling.

It's because of the infection and it is sensitive. Especially when you poke or touch them with your nails.

they hurt cause if you put lotion on (which i think you do) there is a kind of chemical in the lotion that covers up your pores in your skin which makes them hurt sooo much.
