If i had my own country it would be atheist and there would be no religious buildings since theres no god and that would be just a waste of space that could be used for something usefull and to keep the people in order i would create laws and enforce them and if they didnt follow the laws i would bring out the death penalty and they would be electrocuted without hesistation and i would legalize prostitution and gambling and there would be buildings just for prostitutes so that if you want one you could just go in there instead of having all the prostitutes standing outside they could all be in there and i would be making money off of all of this i would be rolling in cash from all my casinos and prostitute buildings and i would allow abortions for everyone since theres too many people anyway so might as well let the women do it if they want and there would be a buy one get one free abortion sale how does that sound to you?

Sounds like its no different from what's happening today. Yeah there are churches but its not totally free to practice your religion. Look at what they're saying about all Muslims being terrorists...Away from the world's prying eyes, prostitution, abortion and gambling are already happening. You could go to a bar and pick-up a girl or have a one-night stand; there are casinos all over the world (some even sanctioned by the government); in some places, abortion is legal. As for the death penalty, in our country, people who go against the government suddenly disappear or found killed and tortured. Corrupt politicians are already rolling in money over all their prostitution and gambling houses and drug syndicates. Bush is already doing his part in easing the problem of overpopulation (think about his all-out war against the Iraqis in the name of so-called democracy and weapons of mass destruction that didn't even exist)Your country just made everything legal.

No, people would no longer commit suicide, so thats like that much more a year our population wouldn't decline. Then everyone would receive sexually transmitted diseases from the prostitutes, thus making the state of living very poor. Many would call you a dictator and would forget what is conceived as moral or immoral. The possibility of your government being overthrown would be very high. The people > you, unless of course you surround your self with a force-field, and can call a storm to rain huge crystalline fists into everyone's faces. Then you'd be unstoppable, of course that'd probrably hinder your image and make everyone only angrier, eventually causing everyone to leave the country and immigrate to Mexico.

First off can you honestly assure me without a shadow of doubt that there is no God? Can you show me the evidence that God does not exist? You can't, in fact I have more evidence that God exist than you have that he doesn't. Now your laws that you would create sound like you would be the AntiChrist. Your country would be a dangerous and evil world that I would want no part of.

Why should it be athiest - because that's what YOU believe? Are all humans created equally then? Should Albert Einstein be looked at equally to a high school every day drop out? (The fact that Einstein did not do well in school comes into play). Obviously, they are not. To opress one religion on all is a current mistake and one that needs to be corrected. And by making prostitution illegal in public, you're saying prostitution is WRONG. By allowing prostitution privately, you are saying it is OKAY. You are contradicting your own values in this simple outline of a government.

So what you are saying is that that there would be no freedom in your country, well all I can say is that it is good, then, that, you do not have a country which would be oppressed there are enough oppressed countries already, and atheism does not bring an end to the problems of mankind, it may even add to the problems

First off- everyone in that town would be depressed
Second- its kind of funny how it sounds like ancient rome, and corinth... they had buildings that were massive, size of 2 football fields, and 42 feet high poles, where men would go and have sex with prostitutes...
you go do that i would like to see how it turns out
good luck

I agree, I grew up on u . s .,u . s . & western. As a 40 4 365 days previous, I heard categories, yet u . s .,u . s . & western remains the tops, particularly classic u . s . from the 1950's - mid 1980's. after 1986 it went all down hill. this annoying u . s .-rock (as I call it) is for the birds. sturdy element I easily have a sturdy decision of actual u . s . song.

So let me get this straight. In your country basically if anyone disagrees with your beliefs then they are killed. Im sorry but that experiment has been done time and time again - Stallin, Hitler, Poi Pot, Saddam Hussein. This kind of government tends to lead to many many civilian deaths, unrest, and ultimately an overthrow by the people. You cant substitute religion with atheism - something for nothing
