What the f*** happened between Isreal and Lebanon?

This summer?
Well Israel send a few soldiers into Lebanon's territory and Hezbollah killed some of them and took 2 into captivity...So Israel attacked and destroyed Lebanon in order to free the soldiers...of course they said that they are actually attacking Hezbollah ,but all they did was to kill almost 1000 innocent people and destroy the civilian infrastructure of Lebanon...Nothing happened to Hezbollah who become more strong...
And it seems that now there are negotiations for releasing the soldiers in exchange to some Lebanese prisoners held in Israeli prisons...
