No it won't hurt you. In fact, finely crushed egg shells have a load of calcium. I use it to give my pets extra minerals in their diets. The only thing that will happen if you ingest a bit of egg shell, is that you will get a calcium boost.

no it doesn't hurt you. as a culinary student we are advised to always double check cracked eggs, this is because they run a very high choking hazard (the egg-shells). However, if you ingest them you will not die or become sick (as long as it comes in and goes out okay), however i advise you don't purposely eat them, because they do not taste good and can often make a perfect dish horrible.

No of course it won't, the egg shell is mostly calcium which your body can process quite easily. But don't you hate it when you're eating your eggs and you get one of those little crunchy pieces? Yuck for me.

Yes, but I would not eat heaps of them. A bit here and there won't hurt you, it would probably be good for you as shells are high in calcium.

If it is a small little piece, it should be ok as your stomach acid can digest it.
