You put forth a good question. Knowing the Truth, puts you in a great position to see what they don't. They have not done what the Father has asked us to do. Accept His Son as payment for sin.
When I come here to spread a few seeds I to am astonished at what I read.
But you know what, it tells me where we are in the scheme of the Will of God. Tells me that we are almost home.
Just maybe the words you type here will make someone who came here to mock take a second look at themselves and accept Jesus Christ before Satan arrives when it will be too late. Think about that.><>

A short story:
a young christian of 13 , asked his mother >>> what were people worshiping at the time of Adam, Noah, Abraham,......until Moses?
she answered >>> God !!!.
he asked >>> why we worship jesus then?
she answered >>>because it is written in the bible.
he asked >>> what will be the faith of the people before the coming of jesus ?
she answered >>> I don't know.
So, After thinking about this even more, knowing that there is
a religion ( Islam) that worships only one God , like the people
before. Again ,he too believed this. And became a muslim at
age 17 himself. Why? Because he could not accept or find reasons to believe in the trinity concept. None of the people before nor after any of the phophets believed in this. This belief is only in the bible( new testament) not in the old testament or
the Quran. Can we trust or believe blindly in the bible and ignore
what most people on the earth have all believed.

I study the Bible like an Archaeologist studies the Earth. And I believe it to be 100% truth.

Most of actual Christian theology comes from 2,000 years of the church in dialog with itself about what it believes. Concepts like the Trinity do not exist in the Bible. (if you look in a concordance for the word trinity or do a word search on your software you will get zero hits) The ideal exists in the Bible and over 2,000 years (actually about 335 Nicean council) the theology of Trinity became real.
Many "Christians" do not know their Bible or only know the parts they want/have been told to study. If their Pastor tells them something, then "it" must be in the Bible.
People need to study the Bible for themselves. Be in dialog with others who study the Bible. Only in this way can people really discern the truth the Bible has to offer.

If the Bible were about some "Holy People", then it really would be a novel, in the sense that it would be a work of fiction. The Bible is about real folks. Some of them are decent people, some of them are just nasty skunks. That's the way life is. As I think most of us know, there is lying, betrayal, unbelief, scheming, etc. in real life. If we are honest with ourselves, we know that such junk is hidden in our own hearts. Remember, you can hide your real self from other people...you might even be able to fool yourself...but there is no hiding from God.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible
The Apocalypse Of Saint John
Chapter 22
11 He that hurteth, let him hurt still: and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is just, let him be justified still: and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still. 12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to every man according to his works. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. 14 Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. 15 Without are dogs, and sorcerers, and unchaste, and murderers, and servers of idols, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent my angel, to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and stock of David, the bright and morning star. 17 And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come: and he that will, let him take the water of life, freely.

You know yesterday I heard on my local news that praying in school would be allowed but you just can't mention Jesus' name or any other form of Gods name such as Allah or to whom you are praying to. What's going on with this? I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
