I started losing weight right after i had my son, now three months old, but stopped and actually gained it back without doing anything different. I already breastfeed so please dont suggest that. And dont reccommend South Beach or Atkins (please, there not my style), but if anyone has any other suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. i how it has to do with the way i eat, but i have started getting back to my old eating habits from when i was thinner but that only started like two weeks ago. Also, i dont want to starve myself because i still breastfeed and need to stay healthy to produce milk

You're on the right track, dear. Nursing & walking are excellent ! All I can suggest is to try & 1)follow your appetite -- only eat when hungy, not when the clock says too -- and only until you stop feeling hungry, not until you're "full"; 2) consume more liquids & less solids. You might try adding a tiny bit of stevia to your liquids, too. Stevia is natural, does not cause tooth decay, is not a problem for diabetics, and it suppresses the appetite. Use it sparingly, though; it is 200 times sweeter than sugar ! It comes in powder or liquid form. Look in a health food store. And, give yourself time. It took 9 months to get big, give yourself 9 months to get back in shape. & congratulations ! !

Cut your calories by 200 a day and start walking/jogging 3 miles 3-4 days a week. You should lose about 3-5 lbs a month. Losing weight the proper way, with diet and exercise, will help to keep the weight off.

My friend attended yoga lessons once a week (during her maternity period) and practice it at home at least 3 times a week. She managed to maintain her weight. In fact, she looks slimmer than before she gave birth!
But then again, different people's body reacts different ways. Perhaps it's just that she has high metabolism rate. But there's not harm in trying out a fun activity. Choose an exercise routine which you enjoy. It will never be like an exercise to you. e.g. cycling, swimming, taking a walk everyday, yoga, pilates, dancing, etc

Your hormones are probably to blame. Find someone who specializes in hormone balance through natural means. There is no reason for you to have to go on some crazy diet.
