I was joking around with a friend of mine who is kind of emo, and I told him I would learn how to say emo in Italian. So, I would really be greatful if someone could tell me how to say it or something that means close to the same if there is one.

i'm a kind of italian... hope i can hel you:
we actually haven't got anything like emo, a similar thing could be 'dark', we usually call 'dark' an emo or a goth.
there are no italian world to say it... sorry

Emo in italian is still emo
the genre of music is called L'Emotional Hardcore / Hardcore Emo
