I am a teenager. I live in a house where a lot of people live together. Including: two of my aunts and their kids (my cousins). The owner of the house is my Aunt Angel.
One day, one of my aunts (Aunt Susan) attacked my mum with a chain. (at that moment, aunt Angel was not in the house) I called the police. Susan was sent to court. The case is still continuing. But the judge has issued a restraining order: Susan and my mum have to be 100 yards away from each other.
Because of some reason, Angel has to help Susan to find a place to live. She failed to find one. So, Angel bought Susan back into our house, which break the law!!!
What should I do now? Certainly Angel is breaking the law. I dont know what to do. I am threatened. I can certainly call the police again. But Angel will be affected because she broke the law too. I dont want Angel to be in jail or get a fine. On the other hand, I REALLY want to KICK Susan out of my house.
WHAT SHOULD I DO? =(

My mum and I are not the owner of the house. We are acutually living in Aunt Angel's house without paying a rent. Because of this, my mum can say nothing about it. if I tell Angel what I have posted here, she will probably be hell mad and kind of like: Do you want to live somewhere else??
I dont want to. My mum doesnt either. Susan should be the one who is out of this Damn house.

You shouldn't do anything. The restraining order is to prevent Susan from being within 100 yards of your mom -- and so it's up to your mom to notify the police that she's violating the restraining order. Angel's allowing her into the house has nothing to do with it, from the law's perspective -- it's Susan's responsibility to comply with the restraining order, and your mom's responsibility to notify the police when Susan doesn't comply.
So, in short:
1. Not your job to call the police;
2. Very much your mother's job to call the police, esp. since if she doesn't do it right away, the judge is likely to assume your mother doesn't feel threatened and so will invalidate the restraining order -- if you're going to do anything, make your mom aware of this;
3. No legal culpability for Angel.
Good luck.

DO they both have to stay away from each other? Because f they both do, by Susan being there and your mom staying they are both violating the order. They would both go to jail. Your Aunt Angel isn't breaking any rules. She is just enabling the two women to be in violation. But if the restraining order is for your Aunt Susan to stay away she is violating the order. You can call the police anonymously to report the violation. You don't have to give your name.

i think that you should tell your mom that you are really afraid of this woman and u do not want her living or even being in the same house as u.tell ur mom that u want susan out and also tell ur aunt angel how u feel and that u dont feel safe with susan at ur house and make it verry clear that u want her out 2night and u dont want 2 call the police because aunt angel could get in trouble but if they can not make her leave then u will be forced 2 call the police.

YOUR AUNT THAT ALLOWED HER TO MOVE IN WOULD NOT BE IN TROUBLE LEGALLY....the one with the restraining order is the one breaking the law......figuring out if it's worth more family stress and problems sounds like your biggest issue here....and of course if you feel threatened you need to deal with that accordingly.

Does your mom feel threatened??? Tell Angel that you are going to call the police if she doesn't leave. Or maybe your family should leave.

You need to call the police, you as a member of the household are breaking the law too by allowing her to be there.
