Slow drivers irritate me, especially on interstates. They are actually more dangerous than speeders because they cause people to slam on their brakes or change lanes and such.
People cut people off because they aren't paying attention. I think that just happens. Though, I don't like it.
And people who ride their brakes drive me nuts! It's a hill! Just go down the hill and let gravity do it's thing! If you didn't hit your brakes, you wouldn't have to accelerate as much when you go UP the hill, and you wouldn't waste gas!
I could go on all day.

Oh they do at times, yes.
If there is 3+ feet of snow and the roads are crap, that is perfectly fine. But when the sun is shining, the road is dry as a bone, and they still can't even make the gosh darn speed limit! ...Sometimes I really wish the roads I have to travel has passing zones. (apparently it is not save to put passing zones on a road that is full of bends and hills and ups and downs and sharp bends and little bends and big ones... and ups and downs that bend and twirl... )
Yes... those who decide to cut me off get on my nerves. The other day I stayed at my parent's and the following morning I was driving back to campus. Some bum speeds out in front of me, I have to slam on my breaks or else I'd hit him. He then goes 30mph in a 55mph zone. He was in such a hurry to get out in front of me--not like anyone was behind me and he couldn't wait--so he goes as slow as he can.
People... I tell ya.

Slow drivers only irritate me if I'm in a hurry, which I'm usually not. You should leave earlier for things so you have time to kill. Try to be understanding, because sometimes it's an old person and they just don't know the difference, but sometimes it's someone who's just driving carefully, and that should be respected, not put down. There are lots of bad drivers out there, but you can't let it make you mad - just avoid them. In the words of Phil Connors fromt the movie "Groundhog Day," "Don't drive angry, don't drive angry" ! =0

I used to wish I had a rocket launcher system on my car for just those types of drivers, especially the ones that go slow in the left hand lane.
Now that I have children, I've slowed down a bit myself... usually ;-)

People who don't know how to act at a 4 way stop get on my nerves. People who don't keep their babies and little kids in their car seats gets on my nerves. People who pull out in front of me so that I have to slam on my brakes and then turn onto another street like 20 feet away...especially when there are no cars behind me. People who park so crooked that no one else can park on either side of them. People who throw trash or cigarette butts out their car windows. People who drive drunk.

Absolutely, they get under my skin. I am convinced, and my husband actually brought this to my attention, that it may be a power play of sorts by some people. Perhaps they just really want to piss people off, and really don't care! Maybe they don't have a lot of power in their own lives, and live to tick others off. How often, have you finally gotten around "said" slow driver, only to have them speed up anyway!?? Grrrr...

With all due respect, if slow drivers get under people's skin, they're the ones who usually have the problem - impatience and an inability to tolerate something minor, in my opinion. I really don't see that many slow drivers on the road and it's mostly the people driving like maniacs who are the problem.
I really think that your judgment is misplaced. Why don't you complain about the erratic, careless and fast drivers? Are you one of them, per chance?
Most of you people responding are also complaing about minor things. It's more important to overlook as many faults as you can than to complain about them and I can tell that most of you are impatient.

Yes, one of my biggest pet peeves, and no, it's not road rage, I mean if someone walks slow in front of you and won't let you get around you wouldn't call that sidewalk rage...

~It's important to remember that nobody "owns" the road. There are people that purposely go out of their way to get a rise out of you, just try to stay away from them to avoid a car wreck.~
