I am 23 years old and i like this girl, but i just met her. she seems really cool, but i feel like i should get to know her and become friends with her before telling her i kinda like her. The problem is that if history repeats itself, i will probably become a good friend and at that point she won't have the same type of feelings as i do for her.

I think getting to know someone first really lets you know if this is a person you truly want to be with. You don't want to go straight for the relationship and then find out later on that it was a mistake when you start learning things about her that don't really rub you the right way. Just get to know her... once you guys start spending time together maybe she'll fall for you :)

I see your point. It makes real sense. It takes finesse to really get off to a good dating start, but there is that "friends" thing that is just REALLY annoying. There are cons and pros to both sides. Just pick one and hope you made the right choice. I would go with the asking her out right off the bat. Friends just sounds like torture. Good luck.
